Doug Legge is the Vice President of Terratec Environmental. He has an extensive technical, financial and management background. Doug has over 30 years of engineering, chemical, energy and industrial water/wastewater management experience. He is a registered Professional Engineer (Ontario) with a MBA from Western University, Ivey School of Business. Doug overseas all business-related functions including operation, finance, sales and marketing along with ensuring the delivery of value to our customers.
Jeff Linger is Director of Operations. He holds a Professional Management Certificate from the Canadian Institute of Management. He has 29 years of experience in the management of operations in in the environmental services industry. Jeff is responsible for overseeing the transportation & logistics of the biosolids program ensuring the use of best management practices.
Jeff Newman is Director of Business Development. Jeff has a background in agriculture and is licenced in Nutrient Management with a diploma in Environmental Studies. He also has extensive training and is certified in various health and safety and environmental programs. Jeff’s wealth of knowledge in biosolids stems from his extensive experiences as a Program Manager for the Eastern Ontario operations. Jeff’s current role is overseeing business development through strategic sales and marketing implementation, building the portfolio and managing our customer relationships.
Maria Piro is Director of Finance. Maria has an extensive financial planning and management background for over 25 years with 20 years in the water/wastewater industry. She has a Chartered Professional Accountant designation with a Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University. Maria is responsible for all the financial aspects of the Company including risk and compliance management.
Mark Janiec is a Land Application Manager for the Liquid Program. Mark has a strong background in the biosolids industry along with a wealth of knowledge in the beneficial reuse of biosolids. He is a Professional Agronomist and a Certified Crop Advisor and is a graduate of the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. Mark is responsible for overseeing the Liquids land program, working with farmers, developing NASM plans and ensuring compliance and adherence to government regulations and best management practices.
